I used to incorrectly assume that working on projects for my clients was how I could do my best work. But to do your best work, you need absolute freedom to do so; the freedom to take as long as it takes, the freedom to pivot when necessary, the freedom to give it all of yourself, and the freedom to go above and beyond to truly make your masterpiece.
